Precious Clark is of Ngati Whatua and Tainui descent and was born and raised in Auckland, where she resides with her fiance and daughter. Precious specialises in Commercial Property and Iwi Development.
Precious has a legal background, and is a Director on Ngati Whatua Orakei Whai Rawa Ltd, the investment arm of Ngati Whatua Orakei, a Director of the Centre for Social Impact, a Trustee on the ASB Community Trust, a member of the Auckland Museum Taumata-a-Iwi, and a member of the Independent Maori Statutory Board. Precious started her career as an analyst in intellectual property at the Ministry of Economic Development before taking up a senior position with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. She then moved to London where she worked at the Security Industry Authority. She has worked as a Business Consultant and prides herself on finding culturally driven solutions. Precious is also a singer, songwriter and performer and was honoured to perform the karanga at the opening of the Rugby World Cup 2011.
