Biography

Yoseph is building an ecosystem of visionary entrepreneurs and investors to solve complex global problems from New Zealand. He is the CEO of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, implementing New Zealand’s new Global Impact Visa.

The Global Impact Visa is a new type of visa and immigration path that New Zealand has created for global citizens, who are working to create positive change in the world. It’s an invitation to visionary entrepreneurs, investors and startup teams, to live and work in the most beautiful, progressive country, and build innovative ventures that solve global problems – from New Zealand.

Our mission is to incubate solutions to global problems from New Zealand, and make a lasting positive impact on the world.

Born in Ethiopia, Yoseph has lived in 6 countries across 4 continents, and helped grow Inflection, a successful technology startup in Silicon Valley. He studied entrepreneurship, leadership and change at Harvard, Cambridge, and Victoria University of Wellington. He is passionate about regenerative farming, and building cultural bridges, and community.
